In Memorium - they are all missed

Picture
Darrell Fuller
(1946 - 2023)

Darrell was the Museum's archivist, our chronicler of local history, and our friend. He was unfailingly curious about everything in the Museum, and he was a joy to be around because his cheerfulness and curiosity were catching. Darrell made all of us better at what we do at TNT Museum.

Picture
Bill Glass
(1948 - 2022)

Native American history captivated Bill throughout his lifetime, and he shared that knowledge with us whenever he could help. We were very blessed to have had him as a volunteer and resident 'expert' at the Museum.

Picture
Virginia Green
(1940 - 2023)

Virginia was one of our most important volunteers for a number of years. She helped clean the Museum so that it always was ready for guests. She was unfailingly friendly and upbeat and was a great asset for the Museum.

Picture
Ronnie Davis
(1947 - 2021)

Ronnie volunteered for pretty much everything, from the National Guard - to the Nocona Housing Authority Board - to Chamber of Commerce events - to the Museum's activities - and more. He was everywhere Nocona was, and was everything that makes Nocona great.

Picture
Joan Veale
(1947 - 2021)

Since moving back to the Montague County family homestead in 2002, Joan was involved in a number of different community organizations. She served for many years as President of the Montague County Genealogy Society and was a valued volunteer at the Museum
.

Picture

Jo Dorland
(1956 - 2024)

Jo worked hard for the Museum, capturing the oral histories of many noted members of the community on video, teasing out their special moments in time and their memories for generations to enjoy and learn from the past.

Jackie Goldsmith

Marzi Lee

Richard Lipscomb

Sue Duckworth
(1950 - 2019)

Sue volunteered for a number of organizations in Nocona, including the Tales 'N' Trails Museum and the Nocona Public Library. She was a member and officer of Friends of the Nocona Library and was instrumental in many of the library's programs for children.

Picture
Francis Albert Lindell
(1941 - 2014)

Francis was not just "a volunteer," he was "the consummate volunteer."  Long a fan of Texas history, he volunteered at Tales 'N' Trails Museum from the very day it opened.  He served with the Montague County Genealogy Society and was a member of the Montague County Historical Commission.  Francis' real love was his service work at the Museum.
Francis was our very first "Volunteer of the Year."
