Scavenger Hunt:
Younger guests enjoy their visit to the Museum more by participating in our scavenger hunts, finding artifacts throughout the Museum. There is a special hunt for older kids, and one with pictures for the younger ones who are not yet able to read.
History Mystery Camp:
Every June, younger cowpokes and buckaroos can participate in a week of activities highlighted by campfire stories, games, crafts and activities designed to recreate our western heritage.

We bring in the big gun telescopes from the Three Rivers Astronomy Camp in Crowell, Texas to star gaze and identify the planets! (usually a summer event)

Cowboy Christmas Campfire:
Part of our citywide "Christmas in Nocona" Celebration, the Museum offers a variety of activities, such as Games, Pony Rides, Crafts and a Campfire Lunch for little buckaroos (ages 12 and under), all aimed at entertaining and teaching skills of yesteryear.
