Future Plans!
Great things are happening at the Museum! We now have a concrete driveway and brick-lined concrete sidewalks in our back yard! Soon we will accept delivery of more oil field equipment to round out our collection, as well as new lights to permanently light our highway sign. We have added new gutters to the main Museum building, and soon hope to have a wildflower meadow. Other plans in the near future include the restoration of our banister bridge to connect our two back acreages by spanning the old highway gully and painting our oilfield equipment. Lots of attention is going into our site and grounds. Come see our progress!
This beautiful barn, the M.F. Ball Agriculture Center, will soon house our extensive collection of agricultural artifacts and photographs, including exhibits on the Mose Johnson Poultry Farm in Bowie, the USDA Experimental Station in Montague, County-wide ranching and farming, exotics, truck farming, orchards, and more!
